Welcome to my page. Let me introduce myself. My name is Amanda Reyes, and I’m 40 years old with 3 children. I am an entrepreneur and own my business, Reyes Secured. Growing up, I spent most of my days with my grandparents; they were my world. They knew everything about me; they watched me go through horrific ordeals, racism, pain, suffering, but also love, caring, and devotion. If they were still alive, they would tell you how I always put others first, even strangers. Over the years, from putting others first and not what was important, I indeed ended up falling into debt. I had a very awful accident that probably should have killed me.
I was able to get myself up and out of debt, started working again, and thought my life was going perfectly. When people see you happy and fulfilled in life, they want to knock you down out of fear of you. I started going back to school and wanted a degree in forensic science. I ended up losing my job over discrepancies, and college loans are horrific. I started at another place and then fell ill. I had to take some time off and rest. I went back to work again. Finally, my team of doctors figured out I have Lupus. Once again, I ran into debt, and my health was declining. Almost 12 years later, I’m finally feeling like me. Working, getting out of debt, and not letting Lupus own my rights of freedom. I met a great and amazing team to partner up with and get the licensing needed to help others get to where they need to be.
Why am I sharing all of this with you? So that you know, I get it. I’m not here to judge, I’m not here to tear you down, I’m not going to be happy until you are.
